In Barony, ambitious barons compete to expand their dominion across a randomly assembled hexagonal landscape and rise through the nobility ranks. Players recruit knights, construct villages and strongholds, establish new cities, and spend resources on noble titles in a race to become duke. Once any player reaches that lofty rank, the round ends and victory points are tallied for whoever built the most prosperous realm.
