In Targi, two rival Tuareg tribe leaders compete to trade goods — dates, salt, and pepper — to earn gold and recruit influential tribe members in the Saharan desert. Players alternate placing meeples on the border of a 5x5 grid, blocking each other from key actions while also claiming cards from the centre that align with their meeples' row and column. The tribal leader with the most victory points from their display of tribe cards at game end wins.
