Balance of Powers
Balance of Powers is an epic hex-and-counter wargame covering the entire First World War from the July 1914 crisis through to a possible armistice as late as May 1919. Players manage armies at the corps and naval squadron level across a three-map Europe that uniquely runs horizontally, enabling two-front struggles on a single map while allowing daring alternate-history strategies like coastal invasions. A diplomacy system lets players recreate the land-swap politics of the era, with neutral country entry adding a dash of historical surprise.
