A Very Civil Whist
Two players square off in the English Civil War, each commanding either the Royalist or Parliament side in a battle for territorial control across England. Trick-taking drives the action — win a trick in a suit to gain ground in the linked region, or deploy famous Civil War generals to swing the odds in your favour. Lose a trick though, and your general might not make it out alive.
